About ResearcherID
Active researchers are encouraged to register with ResearcherID, an online scholarly research community which assigns a unique identifier to each researcher. This unique identifier can then be registered with the ESS Members' Database facilitating systematic documentation of research productivity.
Registration can be achieved through a two-step process:
STEP 1: Register with ResearcherID and then follow the instructions to complete your own publications profile. This will provide you with a continuously updating personal citation report.
STEP 2: Register your unique Researcher ID number onto the ESS Members' Database.

This data will allow the ESS to build up a database of active researchers
